Roof soft washing in Sharpsburg
black streaks on roof Georgia in Sharpsburg →
Roof soft washing in Sharpsburg, GA is booked for newer estate lots, pool homes, and HOA streets with strict fronts. Irrigation rust and clay at the curb are the two stains neighbors notice first.
Those dark streaks on a shaded West Georgia roof are algae, usually Gloeocapsa magma, not dirt. Pressure washing a shingle roof strips granules and shortens the roof. Doing nothing lets the colonies spread down the slope.
Pool decks go unused and green in the corners, and gutters on a big roof fill faster than people expect. Roof work is a soft wash from the surface or a controlled application from the eaves, depending on pitch and access. The goal is to kill the growth and let it release, not to scour the shingle. Valleys, lower courses, and the north slope get the attention. We do not walk a roof that is too steep or too brittle.
What the visit covers
We do not repair shingles, replace flashing, or wash tile and slate as if they were asphalt. Metal roofs are quoted separately after we see the finish.
