when not to pressure wash

Jobs we turn down

Failing roofs, paint that is already letting go, a site a lift cannot safely stand on, and anything that asks us to mix bleach with acid.

We say no to pressure on asphalt shingles, to sandblasting brick, to washing a roof we cannot stand on or reach safely, and to any request to mix incompatible chemicals because someone wants one tank and one price. We say no when the “stain” is failed paint and the owner wants the wash to be blamed later, unless they understand a wash will reveal what is already loose.

We say no to electrical, gas, sewer, and roof replacement. House calls stay in the small-repair list. Height is a rented lift with Alton on it, or it is not done. We do not hand you a lift and wish you luck, and we do not climb what should have been a lift.

We also say no when the photos hide the worst side. If we arrive and the job is not the job, we stop and reprice or we leave. That is fairness, not drama.

The service this belongs to is House soft washing.

In the towns we actually drive to

A long drive does not make a bad job a good one. Distance is in the price. Damage is a reason to decline.
