window cleaning after soft wash
Glass, screens, and what bleach spots
A house wash rinses the glass. It is not a window cleaning. Dried chemistry spots glass, and hard-water etch is already in the pane.
Sodium hypochlorite that dries on glass can leave a haze or a spot. The prevention is simple: do not let it dry there, and rinse. A soft wash includes keeping the glass wet and rinsed. It does not include a detail of every pane, the screens, and the tracks. That is window cleaning, and it is a better result on a separate pass once the wall is done.
Screens are easy to bow and easy to stain. We do not pressure them out of the frame. If a screen is already loose, say so. Taking every screen down is something we can plan. It is not a surprise mid-job.
Mineral etch from sprinklers looks like dirt and behaves like damage. You can feel it with a fingernail. We will tell you if that is what we are seeing, because charging you to “clean” it would be a false promise.
The service this belongs to is Window cleaning.
In the towns we actually drive to
Irrigation that hits the front windows leaves mineral spots no soft wash will erase.
